I first saw the Indy Speedster at SO-CAL’s shop in the summer of 2009 while it was in progress. Pete Chapouris give me a tour of his shop and told me about this build. He projected at the time, “In a couple years it’ll be finished, then it will be ready to compete for American’s Most Beautiful Roadster at the Grand National Roadster Show.”

The NHRA Motorsports Museum has an ongoing exhibit scheduled until January 2013 featuring six decades of MOON. The museum is cool to see in person so that alone is worth going.
